Mim's Mission

Mim’s goal as your Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Herbalist is to listen, empower, and support you on your unique journey toward balance and well-being in mind, body, and soul.

Paving a New Path

Paving a New Path

Before becoming an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Clinical Herbalist, Mim worked in the corporate world and then managed her own educational business, which developed holistic teaching methods, trained teachers, and taught in schools. For the past decade, Mim has found sanctuary in long-distance running. Some years ago, running wasn't enough to calm her mind; it was then that she decided to find answers in nature. She embarked on a three-year Herbal Medicine Course, and during that course, she discovered Ayurveda

Mim found balance by taking on simple Ayurvedic practices, which ignited a profound desire to deepen her knowledge and share Ayurveda with everyone! Since embarking on her studies, Mim has found her path toward sharing her knowledge to empower and guide others toward a healthier, joyful, and balanced life. You will still find Mim running along the shores of Lake Geneva, and now, you can also find her practicing as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Herbalist at her clinic, Neshamama.

Embracing
Change

Mim has constantly reinvented herself throughout her life. This reinvention process requires a deep understanding of oneself and a willingness to embrace change. With her knowledge of holistic approaches to wellness and well-being, as well as her extensive life experiences, Mim is able to approach each client with empathy and provide them with a plan that fits their unique needs.

The Meaning of Neshamama

Neshamama, like Ayurveda, is a combination of two words.

Ayur = Life, Veda = Science;

Ayurveda is the ‘Science of Life,’ often referred to as the “Mother of All Healing.”

Neshama = Soul, Mama = Mother, Earth, Giver of Life;

The soul gifts aspiration and acceptance. The mama gifts growth, nurtures and protects.

Let's Get Deeper

Student of Life

Mother

As a “student of life,” understanding there will always be more to learn, I plan to continue my clinical herbalism and Ayurveda education for the rest of my life.

As a mother, I am full of love and pride, giving, caring, and passionate. I look on in awe as my children follow their beautiful paths in life, and I am grateful for all they have and continue to teach me.

Educator

Explorer

Ultra-Marathoner

As an educator, I am a lifelong learner. I appreciate how unique each one of us observes and understands, and I developed methodologies to accommodate each student’s unique learning styles.

As an explorer, I embrace new environments; I am unafraid of that which is unknown; I tread lightly with awe and compassion on this beautiful blue dot suspended in space.

As an ultra-marathoner, I know patience, commitment, trust, and acceptance of self are all components required for growth.
